Our client provides services into the Oil & Gas Sector.
Our
client is looking for a person with experience in an international
environment and should have extensive experience working abroad in a
multiculteral environment.
Our
client is expanding their team and are looking for an enthusiastic HR
Manager to head and run their HR department, which will be challenging
and demanding. You will be working in an environment with over 150
employees, all of whom are directly managed by the heads of department,
but with the support of the HR department .
Their
staff profile is very varied and consists of a mixture of both blue and
white collar workers each of whom have different requirements in terms
of local and international standards they must meet in order to perform
their jobs. The candidate would need to be able to cope with this wide
range of people, which will include typing/secretarial Services, drivers
and domestic services.
Requirements
- > 5 years continuous experience working in HR in a corporate environment at Senior Level.
- University degree, preferably in related area.
- HR professional qualification
- Confident and able to implement the company’s HR policies and procedures and to able to head an HR department in charge of 200+ employees.
- Excellent spoken and written English skills with the ability to make presentations to other employees and to clients on the Company’s HR Policies. Must also be able to write reports on the Company’s HR Policies.
- Ability to teach, train and manage people.
- Identify staff vacancies and recruit, interview and select applicants to be interviewed by Heads of Departments or alternative staff from the relevant Department
Develop, administer and evaluate applicant tests.
- Allocate human resources, ensuring appropriate matches between personnel
- Manage staffing controls including: refereeing disputes, and administering disciplinary procedures and staff warnings.
- Conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for employee termination.
- Advise managers on organizational policy matters such as Nigerian Local Content, equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment, and recommend needed changes.
