Job Description
Responsibility:
This position is responsible for all technical and managerial aspects of running three Mills. It is charged with
the effectiveness and efficiency of all the Mills
The occupier of this position will:
- ensure full capacity usage of the different Mills for profitability
- coordinate the availability and usage of all raw and packaging materials for production
- coordinate the efficient usage of the mills for different products
- manage and coordinate the entire workforce
- see to the proper functioning and maintenance of the different Mills
- oversee the proper functioning of all equipments and machines’ used for production
- liaise with Quality Control to ensure that all products and materials meet the required quality
- ability to read flow sheets and schematics drawings to determine work procedures and troubleshoot as appropriate
NOTE: This positions is open to both Expatriatese and Non-Expatriates
Desired Skills & Experience
Specifications
- B.Sc/HND in the Sciences or Engineering
- Second degree in any relevant science qualification
- Member of relevant professional body/certification will be an added advantage
- 17 to 18 years relevant work experience in Flour Milling
- Sound professional training in all aspects of Flour Milling
- A good track record of practical record and quality experience
- Analytical Skills
- Excellent leadership and managerial skills
- Communication Skills
- Emotional Intelligence
- Delegation Skills
